Tiled layouts are becoming very popular in website design. They also use either blocks of color or images with a minimal type treatment for easy and quick navigation. Tiled layouts are stylish and are easy to read on the desktop or a mobile devise.

This allows for a screen of any size to view the content of a web page in an optimal fashion. The content of the page is appropriately resized and laid out maintain ease of viewing on any screen with use of a fluid grid. This not only allows for a seamless transition between mobile and desktop, but also takes into consideration the different monitor sizes on a desktop.
